Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products — Tests for the assessment of surface cleanliness — Part 1: Field test for soluble iron corrosion products

Describes a test method which uses indicator test strips that are sensitive to ferrous ions in order to assess the soluble iron corrosion products on surfaces abrasively blast-cleaned. Does not apply to manually cleaned steel surfaces. Annex A is for information only.
