CSA E60598-2-2:24

Scope This part of the CSA E60598 series of Standards specifies requirements for recessed luminaires designed to be installed and used on branch circuits not exceeding 600 V nominal in accordance with CSA C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. It also specifies requirements for recessed air-handling luminaires for use with heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems in accordance with the National Building Code of Canada. It is to be read in conjunction with those clauses of CSA E60598-1 to which reference is made. This part of the CSA E60598 series of Standards specifies requirements for recessed luminaires designed to be installed and used on branch circuits not exceeding 600 V nominal in accordance with CSA C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. This section does not apply to air-handling or liquid-cooled luminaires. It is to be read in conjunction with those clauses of CSA E60598-1 to which reference is made.
