Identification cards - Identification of issuers - Part 2: Application and registration procedures

This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO/IEC 7812-2:2007. 1 Scope This part of ISO/IEC 7812 specifies the application and registration procedures for Issuer Identification Numbers (IINs) issued in accordance with ISO/IEC 7812-1. ISO/IEC 7812-1 specifies a numbering system for the identification of issuers of cards that require an IIN to operate in international, interindustry and/or intra-industry interchange.
