1. SCOPe 1.1 This Standard sets forth requirements for flexible underground hose connectors intended for flammable and combustible liquid service at temperatures within the range of -40°C to +50°C. 1.2 This Standard also sets forth additional requirements for flexible underground hose connectors intended for flammable and combustible liquid service at temperatures within the range of -54°C to +50°C. 1.3 Requirements for the installation and use of equipment handling flammable and combustible liquids are included in the following documents: A National Fire Code of Canada; B Installation Code for Oil Burning Equipment, CSA B139; and C Regulations of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
