CAN/CSA-ISO/IEC 13575-96 (R2009)

The international community has decided to make this standard available only in the English language version. It has been adopted as a National Standard of Canada on this basis. This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO/IEC 13575:1995. 1 Scope This International Standard specifies a 50-pole connector, including the necessary mateability dimensions and the assignment of contact numbers, for use at the interface between data terminal equipment (DTE) and data circuit terminating equipment (DCE). It is applicable where the functional characteristics of the interface conform to CCITT Recommendation V.24 and the electrical characteristics conform to ITU-T Recommendation V.12.
