This National Standard of Canada is based on International Standard CEI/IEC 335-2-57:1989. 1. Scope This clause of Part 1 is applicable except as follows: 1.1 Replacement: This standard applies to ice-cream appliances with incorporated motor-compressors, for household and similar use. Accessories, if any, included in the scope of IEC Publication 335-2-14 are tested according to this publication. This standard does not apply to: - commercial ice-cream appliances; - vending ice-cream machines.
