1.1 These requirements cover the construction and security performance of equipment intended to automatically dispense currency within a financial institution when operated as intended by an authorized person, and to provide portection against unauthorized removal of currency. 1.2 Records shall be made in order that the authorized person may reconcile the currency dispensed. Protection against unauthorized manipulation or removal of the records that will prevent proper reconciliation shall be provided. 1.3 These requirements cover (1) products intended for permanent connection to 600 V or lower potential branch circuits, and (2) products intended for cord connection to 300 V or lower potential branch circuits. The branch circuits and the means of supplying the units from them are intended to comply with the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1.
