This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISo 1562-1984. This International Standard establishes the classification of, and specifies requirements for dental casting gold alloys used in the fabrication of dental restorations and appliances. Alloys of precious metals used for ceramo-metallic applications are not covered by this International Standard.
