Textile Test Methods Linear Density of Yarn in SI Units

Determines the relationship between the length and mass of the yarn being tested, using SI Units. The SI derived unit is the tex, which is defined as the mass in grams per kilometre. Multiples or submultiples of the tex may be used, as appropriate.
