1. Scope 1.1 This standard applies to one grade of general purpose lubricating grease consisting essentially of mineral oil, a suitable gelling agent and necessary additives. 1.2 Intended Uses - This grease is intended for the general lubrication of antifriction bearings, plain bearings, gears, and sliding and rolling surfaces of naval machinery and equipment over the temperature range -30 to +120°C. It has good water resistance and anticorrosion properties.
