Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres. Part 14: Electrical installations in explosive g...
Gives guidance on the design, selection and erection of electrical installations in areas where explosive gas atmospheres could occur.
Applies to all permanent electrical installations within the scope of IEC 364-1. However, may be applied, where appropriate, to electrical installations with voltages higher than the upper limit of IEC 364-1, namely 1 000 V a.c. Wherever possible the…
Methods of evaluating the performance of transmitters for use in industrial-process control systems
Applies to transmitters which have either a standard electric current output signal or a standard pneumatic output signal in accordance with IEC 60381-1 or IEC 60382. The tests may be applied to transmitters which have other output signals, provided that allowance is made for such differences. Transmitters for the measurement of electrochemical properties, such as pH transmitters, are not covered…
Applies to radial brush-holders for slip-rings to be used on medium size asynchronous industrial machines of conventional construction for general applications, having shaft heights between 160 mm and 400 mm in the recommended range (in millimetres): 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, 315, 355, 400. Has the status of a technical report.
Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel Structures
1.1
This Standard stipulates the minimum requirements that must be met and adhered
to by a company wishing to be certified and to maintain certification for
fusion welding of steel structures, performed as part of the fabrication,
fabrication and erection, or erection thereof.
Note: In the case of a company having more than one plant, branch, or
division, each plant shall be certified and…
Acetone for industrial use — Methods of test — Part 4: Determination of permanganate time
The principle of the procedure consists in addition to a test portion, under specified conditions, of potassium permanganate solution. Determination of the time taken for the colour of this test solution to match that of a cobalt(II) chloride and uranyl nitrate colour standard. This document should be read in conjenction with ISO 757/1.
Industrial plate screens — Codification for designating perforations
The perforation of a plate is designated by 1: shape of the holes, 2. aperture size, 3. mutual arrangement of holes, 4. pitch, 5. orientation of the arrangement of the perforations relative to the edges of the plate. The code expresses the items of designation by symbols and magnitudes in the sequence above. The standard applies to perforated plates regardless of the plate material.
Phthalic and adipic esters for industrial use — Determination of free alcohols content — Spectrometr...
The free alcohol is reacted with vanadium(V) sodium salt of quinolin-8-ol(8-hydroxyquinoline) to form a coloured complex. The complex is extracted with toluene and then treated with dichloroacetic acid. The spectrometric measurement is carried out at a wavelength of about 620 nm. The method is applicable to products having free alcohol contents between 0,01 and 5,0 % (m/m).
