This part of ISO 5247 defines the basic terms for accessories of weaving machines. These terms are subdivided into five categories (see figure 1) as follows: shed-forming devices; parts for guiding the warp and for beating-up the weft; devices for maintaining the fabric width; devices for weft insertion; installations for detecting broken warp ends.

Solid fertilizers — Measurement of static angle of repose
The method is suitable for free flowing materials for measuring angles greater than 20 , but not for those which contain a large proportion of particles exceeding 5 mm in diameter.It consists in measuring of the height and diameter of the base of the cone, obtained by allowing a sample to fall through a fixed distance from a defined funnel onto a horizontal baseplate.
Garment construction and anthropometric surveys — Body dimensions
Defines the location and taking of body dimensions and applies to all items of clothing for men, women and children. The use of calipers and anthropometers is excluded.
