ISO 1843-6:1977

Higher alcohols for industrial use — Methods of test — Part 6: Determination of ash

Relates to C6 to C13 alcohols. The principle of the method is based on burning of a test portion and heating in a platinum or silica dish at (600 +- 30) °C to constant mass. ISO 1843/6 replaces ISO Recommendation R 1851-1970.
