Scope This part of the CSA E60598 series of Standards specifies requirements for luminaires for road and street lighting, tunnel lighting, and column-integrated luminaires with a minimum total height of 2.5 m above ground level designed to be installed on branch circuits not exceeding 600 V nominal or less between conductors in accordance with CSA C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. It is to be read in conjunction with those clauses of CSA E60598-1 to which reference is made.
