Soils — Determination of Undrained Shear Strength and Sensitivity of Cohesive Soils Using a Fall Cone Penetrometer

This standard specifies a test method used to determine the undrained shear strength of cohesive soils in their undisturbed and remoulded states and to calculate the sensitivity of cohesive soils using a fall cone penetrometer. This method is only applicable to cohesive soils coming from a homogeneous layer which are free of any coarse particles.
