PURPOSE. --- Specification of steps to be taken for the installation service of a quality underground drainage system: design of the drainage work to be carried out, equipment and material selection, installation, etc. The standard also specifies requirements related to the quality of the customer service that shall be provided by companies and contractors offering underground agricultural drainage services and related work. SCOPE. --- This standard applies to companies and contractors offering underground agricultural drainage services and performing work related to the underground drainage in Québec . NOTES. --- 1 Related work includes, for example, infiltration ditches, sumps, breechings, embankments and grading pertaining to drainage purpose. 2 Although the standard was developed for agricultural drainage, several of the requ rements of this standard are also applicable to other sectors. This document was developed to serve as a reference document for conformity evaluation activities of agricultural drainage services. NOTE. --- Conformity evaluation is defined as the systematic examination of the extent to which a service fulfils specified requirements.
