SCOPE This standard applies to tourist organizations that offer services to tourist or excursionist customers. This standard also applies to tourist organizations that offer services to their members or to stakeholders in the tourism industry. This standard is not intended for the purpose of conformity assessment. NOTES - 1 This standard is completed by sectorial standards that are based on this standard of guidelines for quality. The sectorial standards are developed to apply to the conditions prevailing in different sectors. 2 When applying for conformity assessment, the companies of a tourist sector for which a sectorial standard exists should refer to the sectorial standard.
