1 PURPOSE AND SCOPE The purpose of this document is to establish a certification protocol for normal density concrete manufactured in accordance with Standard NQ 2621-900, to which may be added particular requirements of a work provider. This certification protocol is based on Document NQ 9902-001, which serves as a basis for certification and specifies some rules of procedure for particular application to normal density concrete, the subject of this document. This document is intended for concrete producers seeking conformity recognition of their products by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) and for work providers wishing to use the BNQ certification program applying to the concrete industry. It is important to note that the certification program is supported by a quality system in place ensuring preservation, in time, of the value of the certification.
