1 Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to supplementary protectors* of the manual-reset type that may or may not have a manual means of operation and are intended for use as components within appliances or other electrical equipment where branch-circuit overcurrent protection is already provided (or is not required), in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
