This National Standard of Canada is based on International Standard CEI/IEC 889:1987 (first edition, 1987-11). 1 Scope This Standard covers the electrical and mechanical characteristics of round wires of aluminium 1350-H19, having diameters of 1.25 to 6.50 mm, intended for stranding into overhead conductors to be used for electrical purposes.
