This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO/IEC 15693-3:2001 (first edition, 2001-04-01). 1 Scope This part of ISO/IEC 15693 describes: - protocol and commands, - other parameters required to initialize communications between a VICC and a VCD, - methods to detect and communicate with one card among several cards ("anticollision"), - optional means to ease and speed up the selection of one among several cards based on application criteria.
