1 PURPOSE The purpose of this document is to describe the policies and to summarize the rules of procedure used by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) in the development and review of consensual standards. NOTE - These rules of procedure conform to the principles specified in the current version of Document CAN-P-1, the ISO/IEC Guide 59 (see Annex A) as well as the Code of Good Practice for the Preparation, Adoption and Application of Standards (see Annex A). 2 SCOPE These rules of procedure apply to the development or review of consensual standards by the BNQ, including product standards, service standards, test standards, standardized specifications and standardized codes.
