1 PURPOSE The purpose of this standard is to establish requirements with respect to dimensions, characteristics and test methods related to production control of helical corrugated steel pipe. 2 SCOPE This standard applies to metal coated corrugated steel pipe in round or arched sections intended for use as storm sewers, drains, culverts or underpasses. NOTE ? For structural design and installation of the product, refer to ASTM Standard A 796-94, ASTM Standard A 798-94 and Standard NQ 1809-300/1987, respectively.
