SCOPE 1.1 This standard applies to a factory-applied coating system (liquid and/or powdered coating) of semigloss baked finish for metal office furniture including desks, run-offs, credenzas, filing cabinets, card files, modular shelving, costumers, waste baskets and related office equipment. 1.2 This standard does not cover maintenance refinishing or old metal furniture. 1.3 The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
