1 PURPOSE AND SCOPE The purpose of this standard is to establish the requirements for the characteristics and test methods of polyethylene (PE) pipe and fittings designed for storm sewer and soil drainage. This standard applies to semi-rigid pipes with smooth inside wall having an open or closed outside profile. The pipe diameters range from 75 mm to 1200 mm. Open profile pipe can be perforated. NOTE - Upon request from the designer, the manufacturer can provide all the necessary technical data and specifications of the products being considered in the design.
