1 PURPOSE AND SCOPe The purpose of this document is to establish a certification protocol of practices related to corporate social responsibility in the sectors of human resources development, donations and sponsorship based on requirements set forth in the ECC reference document. This document is based on the Document Nq 9902-001, which serves as the foundation for certification and specifies different rules and procedures in order that they apply specifically to the social activities of companies, which are the subject of this document. This document applies to companies who wish to be recognized by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) for their level of commitment to social practices applied to human resources, to donations and to sponsorship, as well as to persons and organizations wishing to promote or to benefit from the assessment of social responsibility management practices implemented within a company.
