1. Scope 1.1 This Standard provides requirements for non-recirculating toilets and waste-holding tanks and tests for materials, components, proper design and operation, and other significant properties of construction and finish, as well as provision for proper installation of the finished product. Marking requirements are also included. 1.2 Non-recirculating toilets included in this Standard are those units that are connected to a water system and that drain to a waste-holding tank. They are intended for use in recreational vehicles and are installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. 1.3 This Standard is intended to be used in conjunction with the applicable requirements, definitions, and reference publications of CSA Standard B45.0. 1.4 The values given in SI (metric) units are the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
