SCOPe 1.1 This method is used to evaluate by comparison the performance of water emulsion waxes (CAN/CGSB-25.3), detergent-resistant polishes (CAN/CGSB-25.21), and burnishable detergent-resistant polishes (CAN/CGSB-25.24), against standard reference materials, in terms of gloss, levelling, discolouration, traffic marking, dirt retention, slip resistance, ease of removal and, where applicable, buffability, detergent resistance and burnishing response. 1.2 The testing and evaluation of a product by this method may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
