1 PURPOSE AND SCOPe The purpose of this standard is to establish requirements for characteristics and test methods relating to pipes and fittings made of polyolefine plastic such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) used for rain water and soil drainage. This standard applies to semi-rigid, dualwall pipes, both perforated and non-perforated, 75 mm in diameter or greater. Their outside wall may be corrugated or helicoidal, but their inside wall is smooth. This standard also applies to fittings necessary to install these pipes.
