1. Scope 1.1 This standard applies to four grades of gasoline to which no lead or phosphorus compounds have been added. They are intended for use in spark ignition engines under a wide range of climatic conditions. 1.2 Gasoline specified in this standard may contain Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) or other aliphatic ethers.
