1. Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to rigid reinforced, nonhaloginated, thermoset material (RE) conduit, bends, and accessories for installation and use in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, for nonhazardous locations. 1.2 The products covered by this Standard are intended for use at a maximum continuous operating temperature of 110°C. 1.3 This Standard covers Type AG for use above ground and/or below ground, and Type BG for use below ground only. 1.4 Accessories covered by this Standard include straight couplings, 5° angle couplings, adaptors, and bends with plain ends or with integral couplings at one or both ends and expansion joints.
