The purpose of this standard is to establish requirements for dimensions, characteristics and test methods for tubing and fittings, made from thermoplastic materials, that are intended for soil drainage. This standard applies to flexible tubing with circular cross-section, either perforated or not, having corrugations with parallel or helical thread, as well as to fittings required for their installation. This standard applies to tubing and fittings for land drainage and building construction applications. It does not apply to tubing intended for underground dispersion of effluents, which are covered in standards NQ 3624-050 (PVC pipes) and NQ 3624-124 (PP or PE pipes).
