1. Scope 1.1 This Standard provides guidelines for the construction of standard attribute types administration-domain-name and provate-domain name, as defined in International Standard ISO/IEC 10021 (equivalent CCITT X.400 series of recommendations). ADMD names and PRMD names are assigned from a single name space, the management-domain-names (MD names). A single MD name may be used as an ADMD name, as a PRMD name or both. 1.2 The guideline focus on the mnemonic form of O/R Address, CCITT X.400 Form 1 Variant 1. The Directory Name form of O/R Name is outside the scope of these guidelines; the guidelines for this form are provided in CSA Standard Z243.110.4.
