1. SCOPE 1.1 These requirements cover galvanic protection systems for cylindrical horizontal steel tanks of the non-pressure type which are: A Manufactured in accordance with the applicable requirements of CAN/ULC-S603, Standard for Steel Underground Tanks for Flammable and Combustible Liquids, ; and B Used for the underground storage of flammable liquids and combustible liquids such as gasoline, fuel oil, and similar products. NOTE: For the cathodic protection design criteria, see Appendix A. For installation guidelines, see Appendix B. For monitoring guidelines, see Appendix C.
