1. SCOPe 1.1 This Standard describes the requirements for the installation and interconnection of all necessary devices and equipment to operate as a fire alarm systm with or without voice communication capability, as defined in Section 2, Glossary. 1.2 The installation of fire detection devices not covered by these requirements shall be in accordance with good engineering practice.
