1.1 This standard applies to two grades of heavy-duty, water-wash-resistant grease possessing extreme pressure characteristics, good water resistance and superior corrosion preventive properties. 1.2 Grease to this standard is intended for the general lubrication of antifriction bearings, plain bearings, and sliding and rolling surfaces of equipment operating under heavy-duty conditions and/or exposed to water washing.
