Covers macrocomposite pipes consisting of a welded aluminum tube laminated by a melt adhesive to layers of polyethylene ins[Cide and outside the aluminum tube. The Standard also covers fittings (connectors) for use with this composite pipe. The pipes covered in this Standard are for use in potable water supply systems and are pressure rated for 1380 kPa (200 psi) at 23 degrees C and/or 1035 kPa (150 psi) at 60 degrees C.
