1.1 This standard states physical and chemical requirements for a liquid mixture of surface-active agents and suitable solubilizers for use in hand dishwashing. 1.2 Material produced in accordance with this standard is designed for hand dishwashing. It is, however, a general-purpose product that should be reasonable satisfactory for a number of other cleaning operations such as washing delicate fabrics, cleaning metal surfaces and walls, and washing vehicles. 1.3 The product to this standard is not suitable for use in diswashers.
