1. Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to isolating switches, without enclosures, for use indoors at voltages from 751 to 46 000 V ac or for installation in switchgear assemblies (see CSA Standard C22.2 No. 31) or similar equipment for use indoors or outdoors, in nonhazardous locations, in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
