1. Scope 1.1 This Standard provides a classification system for polymeric compounds intended for application in electrical equipment covered by the Canadian Electrical Code, Part II. The classification system consists of the polymer identification and a selection of short and long term properties considered to be relevant to electrical applications, together with test methods for the determination of specific values for each property.
