Covers requirements and test methods for polyurethane and polyisocyanurate cellular plastic thermal insulation in the form of rigid boards faced on both sides with a membrane and primarily intended for use in applications where the continuous use temperature is within the range -60 degrees C and +80 degrees C. The standard covers various facing materials with four types of board distinguished on the basis of their physical properties. A classification on the basis of surface burning characteristics is also included.
