1. Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to full-load interrupter switches for use at voltages from 751 to 48 300 V ac indoors, and for installation in switchgear assemblies (see CSA Standard C22.2 No. 31) or similar equipment for use indoors or outdoors, and at a ltitudes not exceeding 2000 m, in nonhazardous locations, in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
