This Series of standards applies to common types of plumbing fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, W.C.'s, etc., but does not apply to appliances such as clothes washers or W.C.'s used in recreational vehicles. The standards include dimensional requirements, performance requirements and tests, and marking requirements and apply to plumbing fixtures made of vitreous china, enamelled cast iron, porcelain enamelled steel, stainless steel, and plastic.
