1. Scope 1.1 This Standard prescribes requirements for bare mild steel electrodes and fluxes for submerged-arc-welding of mild and low-alloy steels. 1.2 Where reference is made to other publications, such reference shall be considered to refer to that edition of such publication and any revisions thereto approved by the organization issuing that publication.
