1. Scope 1.1 This test method is applicable to materials employed in light diffusers and lenses. 1.2 It is the intent that tests made in conformity with this test method will develop data to enable regulatory bodies to determine the acceptibility of such material when employed in locations where performance in terms of "falling from an installed position before igniting" is specified.
