Covers the minimum requirements for the purity of compressed breathing air supplied to the breathing zone, and for the breathing air systems required to produce and distribute such air for use in the following applications: (a) air-supplied respirators, hoods or suits; (b) self-contained breathing apparatus; (c) diving equipment for use in less than 75m (246 ft) depths of water; and (d) such other industrial or sports-oriented equipment requiring a supply of breathing air.
