1. Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to portable pressurized type liquid petroleum fuelled camp stoves with one or more surface burners. 1.2 This Standard applies to camp stoves intended for use outdoors or in ventilated indoor spaces. 1.3 The intent of this Standard may be applied to camp stoves using alcohol type fuel with a pressurized fuel system. 1.4 Camp stoves that comply with these requirements will not necessarily be found acceptable, if when examined and tested are found to have features which impair the results contemplated by this Standard. 1.5 Camp stoves and components employing materials or having forms of construction similar to those found in these requiriements may be examined and tested according to to the intent of the requirements, and if found satisfactorily equivalent, may be given recognition.
