Applies to one-component joint sealing compounds that cure to a
rubber-like solid and are suitable for sealing, caulking or
glazing applications. A sealing compound meeting the requirements
of this standard is designated by the manufacturer to be one or
more of the types, classes, grades, and uses defined in Section 3
of this standard. For application on a particular substrate the
primer, if needed, shall be as recommended by the manufacturer.
