This International Standard specifies a method of testing sawn timber of coniferous and broadleaved species in shearing parallel to the grain to determine the ultimate strength.  

The general guidance includes conditions of harvesting, quality requirements and conditions of packing for Lactuca sativa Linnaeus. Reference is made to ISO 2169, because it contains provisions which constitute provisions of this standard, too.
