Nickel alloys — Flame atomic absorption spectrometric analysis — Part 8: Determination of silicon co...
Silicon content can be determined in the range of 0,2 % (m/m) to 1 % (m/m). The principle is dissolution of a test portion in acid, aspiration of the test solution into a nitrous oxide-acetylene flame of an atomic absorption spectrometer, measurement of the absorbance of the resonance line energy from the spectrum of silicon and comparison with that of calibration solutions at 251,6 nm.
Unused hydrocarbon based insulating liquids - Test methods for evaluating the oxidation stability
Describes three test methods using the same apparatus for evaluating the oxidation stability of mineral insulating oils and of hydrocarbon-based insulating liquids. A method for evaluating the oxidation stability of unused uninhibited mineral insulating oils under accelerated conditions, a method for oils, a method for unused uninhibited and inhibited hydrocarbon insulating liquids.

Series capacitors for power systems - Part 1: General - Performance, testing and rating - Safety req...
Applies both to capacitor units and capacitor banks intended to be used connected in series with an a.c. transmission or distribution line or circuit forming part of an a.c. power system having a frequency of 15 Hz to 60 Hz. The series capacitor units and banks are usually intended for high voltage power systems. This standard is applicable to the complete voltage range. Note:For internal fuses…
Nickel alloys — Determination of phosphorus content — Molybdenum blue molecular absorption spectrome...
Phosphorus content can be determined in the range of 0,001 % (m/m) to 0,025 % (m/m). Cr(III) and silica cause interference which is eliminated. The principle is dissolution of a test portion in a mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acids, fuming with sulfuric acid, oxidation of Cr(III) to Cr(VI), precipitation of Fe(III) phosphate and redissolution of the precipitate, addition of boric, tartaric…
Two methods are specified: method A for higher mercury content (> 0,5 µg/m^3) based on sampling at atmospheric pressure, absorption in potassium permangante solution, reduction of mercury ions, analysis by flameless atomic absorption spectrometry; method B for lower mercury content (10^- 3 µg/m^3 to 1 µg/m^3) based on sampling at atmospheric or higher pressure, adsorption on silver/gold,…
Tobacco and tobacco products — Determination of alkaloid content — Spectrometric method
Specifies a reference method for the determination of alkaloids, expressed as nicotine. The method is applicable to unmanufactured tobacco, manufactured tobacco and tobacco products. It is based on submission of the sample to steam distillation, spectrometric measurement of the absorption of the distillate and calculation of the percentage content of nicotine.
Radio frequency and coaxial cable assemblies - Part 2-2: Blank detail specification for flexible coa...
Supplementary document to the sectional specification and contains
requirements for style and layout and minimum content of detail
specification. Should be used along with IEC 60966-1 and IEC 60966-2-1.
Air cargo equipment — Base-restrained certified containers exclusively for the lower deck of high-ca...
Covers the design, fabrication, performance and testing requirements for the containers. Basic functions of containers are the unitization of baggage, cargo or mail during ground handling and transportation, and the restraint of its contents in flight.
